Marvin “Chip” Walden, Esq. brings more than four decades of litigation and courtroom experience to his role as Of Counsel at the firm. A distinguished trial attorney, Mr. Walden has tried over 200 cases—more than 115 of them jury trials—spanning personal injury, criminal defense, family law, and civil litigation. His legal career is marked by a consistent record of top verdicts and settlements throughout New Jersey, earning him widespread recognition, including the Hudson County Lawyer of the Year award in 2018.
For over 40 years, Mr. Walden led a general litigation practice as Senior Managing Partner of Greenberg & Walden, LLC in West New York, NJ, overseeing a diverse caseload while mentoring a team of attorneys and staff. His practice focused on representing clients in car and workplace accidents, assault and drug cases, and complex civil matters, always guided by a commitment to justice and advocacy.
He was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court as Secretary of the Hudson County Fee Arbitration Committee, a role he has held for over 30 consecutive years, helping to resolve attorney-client disputes with integrity and fairness.
A two-term Councilman in Weehawken and longtime community advocate, Mr. Walden is also a passionate supporter of diversity and inclusion initiatives and an educator at heart. He regularly lectures on trial strategy for legal associations and currently teaches Criminology and Victimology at Monroe University in the Bronx.
Mr. Walden holds a J.D. from New York Law School and a B.A. in Political Science and Theater from SUNY Oneonta.
